"Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, Again"

It's that time again for catch up. So since we last left you so very much has happened, are you catching the sarcasm? I am so in one of "those" moods. Moving on to Labor Day weekend, a total blast, which included a family camping trip and a BBQ with friends.

Here are some pictures of our family camp out up Mapleton Canyon, so pretty.Roasting hotdogs over an open fire. Can you here us singing? Here are the sleeping arrangements. I am next to Maggie and Chris is next to Dane.
Beautiful hike in the morning after a yummy breakfast of muffins, eggs and bacon.
On Labor Day we had a wonderful BBQ with friends. Here are some pictures of the gang.
Here is Dane with a fat lip he acquired during the BBQ. It was so huge. Thanks to everyone who came we had so much fun.

September 6th was the Spanish Fork Kite Festival it was great and the kids enjoyed making their own kites. Chris and the kids got there a little early so this was all they got to see before they had to leave to make it on time to Dane's soccer game. Dane scored 5 goals this day. BYU vs. UCLA Football Game: Chris' dad Max came up from Texas for the game and here are some pictures. We all had on this seasons shirts thanks to Max.

Everyone knows it was a blowout but it was actually pretty fun. It was my first game in about 3 years and I think it is funny how no one got a picture of me in my BYU shirt. It was a big deal to get me to wear it then no one got a picture. Classic.

On Sept. 14th we had the pleasure of being included in Adeline's(spencer & kari) baby blessing. It was great to see old friends and family and have a small picnic up in Hobble Creek Canyon.

Cooper and Zoe being so good by watching the creek and not playing it. I know it was so hard for them to be good with such a wonderful creek just right there to jump in.And here they are trying to catch grasshoppers. I don't know why but these were the only pictures taken of the picnic. Just imaging good food and great company.

On Monday Sept. 15th Chris headed to Phoenix for work and Max got stuck here with me and my kids due to Hurricane Ike. No flights were flying into Houston until Tuesday so his flight on Sunday was canceled and he was able to spend a couple more days with us. But I think we made it worth his stay. Here is a picture of Cooper golfing with Grandpa and mom. We used to do this with Dane all of the time when he was a baby. I forgot how much fun it is to take them on the course and let them just experience the game and the beautiful atmosphere of golfing.

Max got back to Texas okay. There was a huge tree that fell in their pool but it was taken care of before Max got home. Just an update they are all well but still without power. Hopefully they will get it soon. Whew! That was long. Till next time.

Go Dane scoring 5 goals, but hey I thought you weren't supposed to keep score :)

Looks and sounds like lots of fun. Nice to see gpa Max in the photo, and aunt Samantha! I wondered who that thin looking girl was and then took a closer look. She looks like she enjoys the nieces and nephews as well.
The camping trip looks like it is right up Lewis and JJ's alley. Too bad you guys don't live closer!
Love seeing your kiddos...
