Chris knows I will make him whatever cake he wants for his birthday. After careful, and I do mean careful, deliberation Chris chose Sprinkles cupcakes from Williams Sonoma. I then chose the red velvet with cream cheese frosting, soooooo good. We have a friend in the ward who made us some, so I had to try it myself. They turned out really well, but not as good as hers. I then found out that she has a kitchen aid mixer(who doesn't, besides me) and that's why hers turned out better. I should of guessed as much when the directions are specific to a stand mixer not a hand mixer. So they turned out good not great and my arm is exhausted.P.S. We will be heading down to Phoenix for Thanksgiving and guess what they have in Scottsdale? Hmm? A Sprinkles Cupcake store and yes we will be visiting it. Taking Orders!

That is so funny, Jimmy asked for a red velvet cake for his birthday too! But ours was just a Better Crocker mix, not Williams Sonoma.
