Okay, here it is our last 2500 miles which include driving to Kingwood, Tx from Oklahoma and then the 24 hour drive home. Yuck! I love crossing the border into Texas, it always makes me feel like I am coming home. Welcome to Texas, BABY!

What was the #1 activity in Texas? If you guess swimming you are right. We swam everyday at least once a day usually 3 times a day. Here is Cooper.

Here's Maggie our water baby.We could not get her out of the water.

And here's Dane, what can I say he is a fish.

On Tuesday night, June 2nd we were given the Butler's really great tickets to the Astros Game. We decided to take Dane with us and he had a blast.

Here is a picture of Dane and Grandpa playing golf at the country club.

On Wednesday, June 3rd we spent the day at Moody Gardens down in Galveston. Thanks to Scott and Kami for letting us use their season passes we had a blast.
We 1st visited the Aquarium Pyramid. The kids just loved this sea turtle it was pretty neat to see.

Then we headed over to the Rain forest Pyramid. These birds were pretty funny.

We even has time to catch an Imax. We saw the Whales and Dolphins, we wished we would of chosen the Shark one instead it was probably better. Here we are waiting for the show to start.

After the show we headed down to the swimming/beach area for, yes, another swim. Here are some pirate pictures we took before the swimming.

Thursday, June 4th we went to dinner with Scott and Kami's family and then headed to another Astro's game. Yes, another baseball game. Chris is a little obsessed with Houston sports teams.

We sat nose bleed this time which I think is way more fun.

It was fun to take everyone with us this time and also have Scott and a couple of his kids come with. Baseball games are more fun with a crowd.

Cooper was the best fan out there. He had a blast decked out in his Astro's gear.

Friday, June 5th was sadly our last day with the family. Us girls headed out to get pedicures, do some shopping and have a wonderful lunch at La Madeline. If you know me at all I love my eating out and La Madeline has been a favorite of mine since high school. Way yummy. It was a great break for all of us to be without our kids for the afternoon. Thanks hubbies for taking our kids to the pool at the country club. I told you we went swimming everyday.

Thanks again to Jimmy for making us a wonderful fajita dinner to end our excellent time in Texas.
On Saturday, June 6th we woke up very early and hit the road. It was a grueling 12 hours in the car till we hit our destination of Santa Rosa, NM for the night. The good thing was the kids were exhausted from our vacation so they slept most of the way.
Sunday morning, June 7th we had to hit the road again for another 12 hours of driving time. Here is a picture of the kids at the hotel. They just crack me up with there little bags.

This is what the kids looked like for the remainder of our trip home on Sunday. It was so funny.

And, of course, to end our trip we had to point out Hole in the Wall to the kids and stop and take a picture at Stewart's Arch or Stewart's window? I can't remember what it is called but you know what I am talking about.

Man I am tired just reliving this trip through my post. We had a great time and can't wait for the next family adventure. I still need to catch up the rest of our summer so keep checking back.
