October Happenings and Halloween, Of Course

It is so hard to blog here in Oklahoma. We have a very slow rural internet that is just killing me. So other than checking the stuff I have to check I really never get on the internet that much. I love to blog and read everyone's blogs and see what everyone is up to so our internet has been an annoyance, to say the least.
October came and went very fast, as you can imagine keeping up with 4 little kids. Tuck is getting to be so much fun and we are able to venture out as a family a little more often now that he is almost 1. Our first outing in October was a trip down to Dallas/Ft Worth to catch the BYU vs TCU game in the 16th. We realized Cooper had never made it to a BYU game while we lived in Utah so he got to come along this time.Halloween is a week long celebration now. When did this happen? With church parties, school parties and trick or treating Halloween is a big deal. On the Monday before Halloween for FHE we carved our Pumpkins and lit them up.The first party was the ward party on Wednesday and with no masks allowed the kids wanted to color their hair, and why not? Here is Tuck ready for his 1st Halloween as a giraffe with his homemade treat bag.On Saturday we headed up to Tulsa to visit the zoo and hang with The Bird's at their ward party trunk or treat.Tuck just loved this goat and could not stop trying to get it.Another picture of Tuck. I just can't get over how big he is getting.
After the zoo we went back to The Bird's house and got ready for their ward trunk or treat. Chris decided in the last minute he was going to dress up for Halloween. So he put on one of the kids costumes and painted his face. This was the end result. Dane is the bobble head skeleton and it was pretty funny in person. And here is a picture of the whole gang. Dane-skeleton, Ely-Frankenstein, Ely's friend-Frankenstein, Cooper-Optimus Prime (for the 2nd year in a row), another friend, Maggie-Purple Princess (love using recycled ballet costumes), Andy- ghost and Jack- Bobo Phet (I think?). We had a blast up in Owasso and we just love that we are close to some cousins, now. I am so glad Halloween is over till next year. Next up is Tuck's 1st Birthday and then we are heading to Houston for Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see everyone there.
