I had to steal a lyric from the Beattles to say Happy Birthday to our Maggie. Maggie turned 3 on Friday the 18th and we are celebrating it today. Pictures of the event to come soon.
Here is "princess maggie", as she called herself all day. This is her birthday tiara that we could not get her to take off all day, including when I took Maggie to Toys'r'us and the Gap for some mommy and me shopping. Her black eye looks great in this picture and ,of course, Dane gave her the black eye.
So the day started off with a trip to the new Jumping Jacks in Springville. Jumping Jacks is a big huge room full of blow up jumping tents and blow up mazes. It was a blast, kinda pricey considering we only stayed 1 hour due to the sheer exhaustion the kids experienced. They passed out after Jumping Jacks and then lunch at McDonalds. It was maybe a little too great for us, we truely enjoyed some quiet. Here is Maggie with her birthday balloons and her new red purse from the Gap. I told you we could not get that tiara off her all day. About the balloons, I hate balloons, all of the fighting and crying about those are mine or one pops drives me crazy. So a couple of years ago I let the kids know we will only have balloons in our house for birthdays and those balloons belong to the birthday kid. So in triumph here is Maggie with her birthday balloons which she did share with the others. What a nice sister. She had a great day and we are glad it is over.
