It was Provo's 25th Freedom Festival this year. Chris and I decided we had to go and get involved. I hate parades but we decided since Dane would be in Ely, NV for the week we would venture out with Maggie and Cooper. I trained for the 5k this summer and ran it on the 4th. My time was not great but I beat my goal by 9 minutes. I must say I was pumped for the rest of the day. I enjoy running so much it has just been hard finding time to run and raise my 3 kids. I was so pumped I signed up for another 5k in september, hopefully I will improve my time. I am really excited. After the race we headed down to the parade, called Carl and made him get up and join us on 9th east and center. I could only take about an hour and then we had to head out. Carl hung out with us most of the afternoon, we enjoyed his company very much. Layed around the house lazily until 5:30 when we picked Carl up and headed over to Veeda and Brendans for a great BBQ. We met Marilyn's new man and just did nothing it was great. I hope all 4th of July's can be this relaxing. What did everyone else do for this holiday. The news here in Utah said that the 4th of July was officially the #1 day for beer sales, it just passed the superbowl. I just can't see any relation between beer sales and all of the injuries caused by fireworks, can you? Hope everyone had a great holiday.Saturday, July 7, 2007
Provo Freedom Festival 2007

There is something magical about the 4th in utah. Mormons must love america. We were sad that we already had plans and couldn't meet up with you at the BBQ. Gian and I have been thinking that we need to get together with you guys again soon. Lets do something!!
