Merry Christmas Friends and Family,What a Year! Man how time flies! I can’t believe this year is already over! We have heard them all and they are so true. This year was eventful, to say the least. The biggest change was a job transfer for Chris to Tulsa, OK the end of May. After living in one place for 6 years moving was no small task but with the help of family and great friends moving went off without a hitch. The kids are adjusting well and loving the country life and warmer weather. We have road tripped a lot this year. Starting with the move in May, we had a wedding in Houston in June, a family reunion up at Aspen Grove in Utah in July, Thanksgiving week in Dallas and Houston and we will be spending Christmas Break in San Antonio and Houston. Whew. Like I said, a lot of travel. The best part of our relocation to Tulsa is being so close to our family and being able to take road trips to visit them often.
Chris is still working for Wencor and has been with them 9 years now. Chris is now an outside sales rep for Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana. He travels a lot but we enjoy him working from home when he is not traveling. After returning from a “business trip” Chris slipped and said “when I was on vacation…”, we are never going to let him live that down. Chris isn’t a big talker like most sales reps but he sure knows a lot about airplane parts. He also enjoys dining out and playing golf with “his clients” so I think this is the perfect job for Chris.
I am not really up to much these days other than making sure my family is taken care of and everyone is where they need to be when they need to be somewhere. I still very much enjoy reading and learning new things. I was blessed to be called as the 16-18 year old Sunday School teacher in our new ward and I love it. I felt I never really had the time to study the scriptures like I wanted to and now I have the perfect excuse. I am also excited and looking forward to turning 30 the beginning of the year. Maybe turning 30 will make me feel like I am really an adult now, we will see.
Dane is 7½ and is in 2nd grade. He is really into sports(still) and now we can add hunting to his likes. Dane has an air soft gun he comes straight home to after school and heads out for target practice until dinner time. We also catch him watching the sportsman channel on TV, which is pretty much just hunting. What are we going to do with him? Dane is also looking forward to turning 8 in April. Getting baptized and being able to start cub scouts is all he can talk about these days, besides hunting.
Maggie is 5 and is in Kindergarten but she will let you know she is turning 6 in January. I don’t know why being 6 is so important to her but it is. Maggie loves school and loves getting to go all day. Maggie is still very much into pink, princesses, dolls and now we can add puppies to the list. Yes, Maggie wants a puppy more than anything but I am married to a Jensen and they just don’t like pets. Maybe when we buy a new home I can talk her Dad into it, that’s a big maybe.
Cooper is 4½ and has started Pre-K which is all day here. He loves it and loves being a “big kid” as he calls himself now that he gets to eat lunch at school. I don’t know what about eating lunch at school that makes you a big kid but my kids sure think it does. Cooper is our little fire ball and keeps us on our toes, always. If you take your eye off of him for a second he is into something he is not supposed to be into, primarily something he has to climb to be able to reach. We thought by moving we would not have to put a lock on our pantry, like our old house, because our kids(Cooper) had outgrown getting into the food when it was not time to eat. Man, when are Chris and I ever going to learn?
Tuck just turned 1 in November and loves to sit in the middle of the room and play with his toys? Wait let me say that again, Tuck loves to sit in the middle of the room and play with his toys. No, Tuck is not crawling and has no desire to do so. Tuck is thinking “why would I crawl to get a toy when I can just fuss or yell and my siblings will get it for me”? There is nothing wrong with Tuck’s ability to crawl he just simply chooses not to. I guess someday he will take a leap and get that toy on his own, I am not holding my breath.
We love this time of year and love the opportunity to reminisce about the time we were able to spend together as a family. We hope to find everyone doing well this Holiday Season and wish everybody the best for the new year.

That is the cutest Christmas card ever! I love the way the pictures turned out. They are adorable.
Kids are as cute as can be, Jamie. Can't believe how big Tuck is already. We hope we get to see you guys before too long.
